The potential success of the Provincial Planning and Development Councils (PPDCs), overcoming the restructuring hurdles, and finding good solutions come after the expanding work in the provinces, highlighting the PPDC role, and framing a coherent policy for the provinces,” said Dr. al-Adhadh. He added that the PPDC is a legislative entity with 12 members and planning directors from service-based directorates. The PPDC will be embedded in the Governor’s Office and will have a role in policy formulation.
